The Spanish Royal couple second day in the United States continues with a full day of royal activities.
It started with His Majesty meeting with US Business leader in DC at the US Chamber of Commerce. According to Casa Del Rey, His Majesty the King held a breakfast meeting at the residence of US Ambassador to Spain organized by the ICEX-Invest in Spain and the Economic and Commercial Office of the Embassy of Spain in the United States businessmen, in collaboration with the US Chamber of Comerce, which was attended by representatives from companies such as DuPont, Dow Chemicals, Costco, Lilly, Microsoft, HP, 3M, Honeywell, Marriott, UPS, IP Containers or General Motors.

Meanwhile Her Majesty the Queen  visited the National Cancer Institute in the Clinical Hospital of the National Institutes of Health (NIH). After meeting the research laboratories of the pediatric unit to combat cancer, Letizia held a working meeting.

 Later, in the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center, the King attended the seminar "A transatlantic conversation", organized by the Wilson Center and the Real Instituto Elcano. In his speech, King referred to the need to address global challenges such as climate change, nuclear proliferation and global terrorism through global solutions.

At noon, King Felipe maintain a working lunch with scientists and experts participating in the seminar.
His Majesty met with Hispanic leaders
In the afternoon, the King and Queen attend the presentation of the First Meeting of Spanish scientists in the United States at the University of Georgetown, ending with a dinner hosted by the academic institution in his honor.
His Majesty gave a speech during his visit to His Alma Mater the University of Georgetown. His Majesty attend the University where he studied and graduated with a Master in Foreign Science Edmund A.Walsh of Foreign science

Prince héritier Haakon et Princesse héritière Mette-maritt sont en visite de 4 jours dans le Counte de Akershus, Norvège. Le voyage dure jusqu'à jeudi et ils visiteront les municipalités Frogn, Oppegård, Nannestad, Gjerdrum, FET et Nittedal.

The Royal Court of Norway: Crown Prince Couple are visiting the Akerhus County for four days (part 1)

Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Maritt are on a 4 day visit in the Akershus, Norway. The trip lasts until Thursday and they will be visiting the municipalities Frogn, Oppegård, Nannestad, Gjerdrum, Fet and Nittedal.

The Crown Prince and Crown Princess was given the opportunity to extend this year's ice cream season a bit with a visit to the local ice factory, Kulinaris.














They enjoyed and are keen doing outdoors activities while in Oppegård. Crown Prince is patron to Outdoor Recreation Year. By doing Outdoor activities at Tårnåsen which included geocaching. It was also located out a geocache ("geokæsj") in the forest in honor of Crown Prince and Princess, and this was the two invited to find. Geocaching is a kind of orientation, where one finds using GPS instead of a map and compass. Oppegård launched a series of ten caches in conjunction with the municipality's 100th anniversary, and this is number eleven.

According to Kongehuset.no, during one of the activities which is The pyramid has been one of the best skate parks, and here got Crown Princess see an impressive demonstration on skateboard, scooter and BMX.

- It's been a real good facility, said Crown Prince in his speech on the cob later in the day.  And it was nice to talk to many of those who use it daily and also hear how good they were - it was on skateboard or scooter or whatever. And there is also, of those who maybe are a little on the side of the most organized sport something to engage with.

 Their visit ended in Kolben where they took part in folk festivals and an improptus news conference with the present media outlets. According to Kongehuset.no:

- When Crown Princess and I travel around in Norway, we often meet local businesses. The meetings make us optimistic - although we know that we are facing times where it becomes part of restructuring. Many are afraid of what is happening to their workplaces, and the local business community says something about people's optimism and perseverance. Here in Oppegård we have taken a number; Gazellevinner Skye Consulting, inspiration now create places and people from Sjodalen Strand Farm. They come from different industries, but all represent people with initiative and enthusiasm, said Crown Prince Haakon.
