The Belgian Royal Courts: Queen Mathilde's mission in Ethiopia

The Queen Mathilde of Belgium arrived in Ethiopia on Monday November 9th for a four-day trip.

The Belgian Queen visits the country in her capacity as Patron of UNICEF Belgium. Her Majesty will be visiting UNICEF projects related to the survival of young children. The mission focuses specifically on the objectives, which concerns the survival of the youngest in its fundamental dimensions: health, nutrition, drinking water and hygiène.
On arrival in Addis Ababa, Mathilde went to the "12 Yekatit" hospital in the capital Addis Ababa, she called a "center of excellence" for the treatment of young children in Ethiopia. She then met with the vice president of the mission Oromia.
During this trip she will also pay visit to the cities of Dire Dawa and also includes visits to projects in disadvantaged communities living in remote areas of Ethiopia. The Queen of the Belgians will also meet with victims of female genital mutilation.

According to the Palace this trip replaces the journey that had been scheduled in November 2014 in Burkina Faso, which was canceled due to the unrest that shook the country. This mission had already canceled a bearing on children's rights, an issue which, in the Palace, is important in the eyes of the Queen.



The Kiwi Royal Courts: A slight interruption on the Royal Visit

Continuing their journey to New Zealand, Prince Charles and his wife Camilla Duchess of Cornwall had their day program change last meet to with 2015 Rugby World Cup Winners and 2x New Zealand's reigning champions the All Blacks team which was annouced by Clarence House

Currently visiting New Zealand with his wife Camilla, were indeed in Wellington on November 5, their gratifying a triumphal parade the day the All Blacks supporters of  through the streets of New Zealand's capital. Before the parade, the team led by Richie McCaw took the pose with the Webb Ellis trophy in hand, with Charles and Camilla in the courtyard of Parliament where thousands of people had gathered. The opportunity for the heir to the British crown to declare the joking, according to comments reported by "The Telegraph": "Ladies and gentlemen, we have just traveled 11,618 miles (about 18,700 km) to come to congratulate the world's best rugby team. " He added: "But ladies and gentlemen, what am I going to say to Australians next week"

The Belgian Royal Court: HRH Princess Astrid of Belgium on a Canadian Visit

HRH Princess Astrid of Belgium is in Canada since Yesterday Wednesday October 28th for a week long Economic mission on behalf of her brother His Majesty King Philippe to the Canadian Western provinces of British Columbia and Alberta.

This Economic mission is in an effort to straighten communications between Belgium and Western Canada. Whilst in British Columbia in the Cities of Vancouver and Burnaby, HRH first met with Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II Queen of Canada's representative to the province Lieutenant Governor Judith Guichon
According to Huffington Post"While they were in Vancouver they will visit the aquarium, which uses projectors made by Belgian audio visual company Barco, and hear about EXMAR, a Belgian marine engineering company working on an LNG project near Kitimat."
In Burnaby  According to Burnaby Now"They had a stop at Alpha Technologies, a Burnaby-based technology company specializing in power solutions that has close ties to Belgium."

Her visit continue to Calgary in the Province of Alberta since yesterday for a 3 day visit, were they visited Cumming School of Medicine at the University of Calgary as well as meet with Calgary Economic Development, city officials and oilpatch executives to discuss business and investment opportunities stemming from the Canada-EU trade deal.

After Her visit she went to the Military Museums in Calgary on October 28, 2015 were she inspected the Guard of Honour and paid tribute to Canadians who lost their lives on Belgian soil and commemorated #BattleofPasschendaele.


The Dutch Royal Court: King Willem-Alexanders conducts second day of Chinese state visit without Queen Maxima

Although being ill, Queen Maxima nonetheless decided to participate with a smile, alongside her husband King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands at the State banquet offered for them in China on Monday night by President Xi Jinping and his wife Peng Liyuan.
In Mid-Afternoon of October 26 in Beijing (9am in the Netherlands), the Dutch Royal Court were left some doubt as to the participation of Queen Maxima that evening at the gala dinner that closed the second day of the State visit it was confirmed two hours later. And, although suffering from a kidney infection, the young woman of 44 years assumed in style this commitment.
She chose for the occasion wearing a blue-green robe adorned in the lower part of trees with twisted trunks emerging from the ground in the colors of gold. Art lovers will readily recognize that it is the evocation of a painting by Dutch painter Vincent Van Gogh accompanied this dress with emerald jewelry by the Dutch designer Mattijs van Bergen, the pendant "pigeon's eye" Wilhelmina of Prussia (1751-1820) of spouse to Stadtholder Willem V, one of the most valuable emeralds of the royal family.
To take part in this banquet given her condition, Queen Maxima had preferred to stay to rest in the hotel during the day. Prior to that King Willem-Alexander attended the welcoming ceremony of the President Xi Jinping and visited the touristy hutong Dashilar, restoring a set of typical shopping streets of old Beijing. Also on Tuesday, the king had to go without his wife on the Loess Plateau in northern China.King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima of the Netherlands perform Sunday 25 to Thursday, October 29, a state visit to China. After Beijing, their program includes steps on the Loess Plateau in Shaanxi province in northern China, as well as Shanghai and Hangzhou.

The Danish Royal Courts: Sunset and flowy dresses for Queen Margrethe and Prince Henrik in Java

Queen Margrethe of Denmark and  Prince Henrik completed this weekend their official three-day visit to Indonesia in discovering the wonders of Yogyakarta.The city, capital of the province of the same name on the Island of Java, is famous for its traditional Javanese art.
The Danish royal couple visited the beautiful Prambanan Temple and the Kraton, the palace of the Sultan of the region.
