The Norwegian Royal Courts: Princess Martha Louise celebrated the 100th anniversary of the Norwegians Riders Associations

On December 3rd Princess Martha Louise attended the 100th anniversary of the Norwegians Riders Association(Norges Rytterforund) and open the celebration with a special  anniversary conference. Her Royal Highness has been an active rider since a young age

The Norwegian Royal Courts: Queen Sonja at the Mass Service for the Paris victims

Queen Sonja, wife of King Harald V of Norway, attended Last Thursday December 2nd in Oslo a requiem mass for the victims of the terrorist attacks on 13 November in Paris.

Her Majesty had in fact represented the royal family at the service celebrated this December 3 evening in the Catholic Cathedral St. Olav in Oslo. It was a requiem mass for the 130 victims of terrorist attacks in Paris. It was co-celebrated by both the Catholic and Lutheran bishops of the Norwegian capital, in the presence of ambassadors from various countries and representatives of several religious communities.

The Norwegian Royal Courts: Princess Martha Louise grants audience to her patronages

Princess Märtha Louise visited On November 24th visited the Norwegian's Department of Health and Care Services in Oslo and met with Minister Bent Høie. Also, The Princess received representatives from all six organizations in audience of which she is patron.
The Organizations are:

    • Norges Blindeforbund(Norwegian Society for the visually impared
    • Norwegian Deaf Association
    • Norwegian Epilepsy Association
    • Norwegian Rheumatism
    • Ridderrennet

    The Norwegian Royal Courts: The Crown Prince Couple celebrates the Norwegian Red Cross 150 years

    Both Their Royal Highness Crown Princess Mette-Marit and Crown Prince Haakon were present when the Red Cross' 150th anniversary was marked with 700 volunteers in Oslo City Hall. Crown Princess Mette-Marit is a huge advocate and ambassador of the Red Cross and what it stands for and took the opportunity to thank the volunteers for their amazing efforts
    During her speech she said "Thank you for being there when needed. 
    Thank you - today as 150 years ago - have the courage to face distress. Thank you for your time and vigor."

    The Norwegians Royal Court: Crown Prince Haakon at Oslo Innovation Week

    Yesterday October 12th, HRH Crown Prince Haakon attended the opening of Oslo Innovation Week 2015. The report concluded the Government's "Entrepreneur Plan" presented today.

    Today October 13th, Crown Prince Haakon visited the Food Hall this morning where he had the opportunity to greet the six candidates and judges to make the difficult decision. The Crown Prince also received  the selection of this year's palate delight.
