On October 6th, all senior members of the Danish Royal Family i.e HM Queen Margrethe, Prince Henrik, Crown Prince Fredrick, Crown Princess Mary, Princess Benedicte, Prince Joachim and Prince Marie all attended the Folketing Opening Ceremony at the Christiansborg Castle on Tuesday.. Folketing is the danish parliament. The opening marks the beginning of the new Folketing year, which is always the first Tuesday in October, including a public worship in the castle church. Check other royals at Parliament opening ceremony Sweden, Norway and Netherlands.

His Majesty King Harald came to Parliament, been followed by Her Majesty Queen Sonja and The Crown Prince Haakon to take part in the 160th opening of the Parliamentarian Session.
