The Royal Courts at the United Nations: Spanish King attends the United Nations General Assembly

This weekend many of our monarchs who are heads of states where in New York of the United Nations Head of States General Assembly (UNGA). His Majesty King Felipe of Spain was present just a week after returning for a trip to the US and was in New York to attend the United Nations Summit on Sustainable Development 2015, held between September 25 and 27.

On Friday, September 25, His Majesty King was at the headquarters of the United Nations to attend the high-level plenary meeting of the United Nations General Assembly. In his speech according to Casa Del Rey: His Majesty the King in his speech at the plenary meeting highlighted that "Think of one world requires us to act as one world. In this spirit we have taken decisive steps to infuse us hope through the Millennium Agenda initiated 15 years ago . However, development is not, never has been, a uniform process, and its scope is assured. Wars and Syria, natural disasters like the earthquake in Nepal or epidemics such as Ebola could reverse the gains achieved decades for developing countries and demand our solidarity and sustained attention. "
His Majesty also met with His Majesty King Abdullah of Jordan, Former President His Excellency Bill Clinton for the Clinton Foundation, Spanish representative to the United Nations, representative of  FundaciĆ³n Novia Salcedo,
