Née le 29 mai 1926, la reine mère était mariée au roi Siaosi Taufa'ahau Tupoulahi, fils aîné de la reine Salote Tupou III; Et était la mère de deux rois - George Tupou V et Tupou VI.

Elle survit par le fils du roi Tupou VI et la fille de la Princesse Royale Princesse Sâlote Mafile'o Pilolevu Tuita, 11 petits-enfants et plusieurs arrière-petits-enfants.

Queen Mother Halaevalu Mata'aho has passed away aged 90. Her Majesty passed away at a hospital in Auckland New Zealand.

According to Matangi Tonga that her granddaughter Princess Angelika Latufuipeka Mata'aho was by her side during her passing.

Born on May 29th 1926, the Queen Mother was married to King Siaosi Taufa'ahau Tupoulahi, the eldest son of Queen Salote Tupou III; and was mother of two kings - George Tupou V and Tupou VI.

She is survived by son King Tupou VI and daughter the Princess Royal Princess Sālote Mafile'o Pilolevu Tuita, 11 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
