The State visit from Canada to Sweden Day 1

On Monday February 20th, the first state visit for 2017 for the Swedish royal family began. Their Majesties King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia joined by their children Prince Carl Philip and Princess Madeleine as well as their respectives Princess Sofia and Christopher O'Neil to welcome Canada's Governor General H.E David Johnston and his wife H.E Sharon Johnston to Stockholm. Unfortunately the Crown Princess couple Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel were not presents as they are on a private holiday abroad with their children Princess Estelle and Prince Oscar.

Madeleine appeared in a GIAMBATTISTA VALLI Appliquéd printed crepe dress she first wore at the King's birthday celebrations last year with her Gianvito Rossi velvet pumps(which she first wore at Prince Nicolas' baptism) and a new VALENTINO - THE ROCKSTUD LEATHER SHOULDER BAG - BLACK, the second in an ivory Agnona dress, head accessories by Ole Lynggaard (we have seen this on Crown Princess Mary of Denmark's hair), Salvatore Ferragamo MISS VARA MINI SAFFIANO LEATHER CHAIN BAG Thanks to our friends @Heavenlm and Sarah at theRoyalsandI. Queen Silvia, who in the evening was sky-blue as her daughter and wore her imposing diamond diadem, wore a turquoise suit. An outfit that did not stop her in the afternoon from playing basketball when she had taken Sharon Johnston to discover the Fryshuset. This activity center in the Swedish capital carries out preventive social work with young people in a vulnerable situation, with a view to their integration into society.

Still on holiday abroad, with prince consort Daniel and their children Princess Estelle and Prince Oscar , crown princess Victoria of Sweden was not there to join in the beauty with her little sister Madeleine and their sister-in-law Sofia.

Princess Madeleine's first official work in London

It's a first! This Tuesday, February 14,th 2017, Princess Madeleine of Sweden represented the Swedish crown on British soil. The youngest daughter of the Sovereign couple inaugurated a children's library at the Southbank Center in London on the occasion of the "Imagine Children's Festival" organized every year during the holidays of February. Based on the literature of the Nordic countries, it is based on the pedagogical model "Room for children", developed at the Kulturhuset cultural center in Stockholm.

For this first official engagement in London where she resides with her small family since the summer of 2015, Madeleine of Sweden appeared very happy. She seemed delighted with the mission entrusted to her. The mother of Princess Leonore, who will be celebrating her 3th birthday on 20th February, and Prince Nicholas, 19 months old, has not begged to kneel among these toddlers.

This library is one of the projects developed within the framework of "Nordic Matters", understand Nordic Questions. Le service funerailles de Ulf Dinkelspiel servi par la famille royale suedoise

Des membres de la famille royale ont été photographiés le vendredi 20 janvier 2017 habillés de noir habillés à Stockholm. Parmi eux se trouvait la princesse Madeleine King Carl XVI Gustaf et la plus jeune de la reine Silvia qui vit à Londres avec son mari le banquier britannique-américain Christopher O'Neil et leurs deux enfants, la princesse Leonore et le prince Nicolas, accompagnaient ses parents et sa tante à un service religieux. Ce des funérailles de leur plus cher ami, financier, diplomate et politique suédois Ulf Dinkelspiel. Après avoir occupé plusieurs postes de secrétaire d'État et de sous-ministre, il a été une figure majeure dans les négociations pour l'entrée de la Suède dans l'Union européenne. Il est décédé le 9 janvier à l'âge de 77 ans du cancer.

Les frères et sœurs aînés de la princesse Madeleine étaient absents. Les médias locaux ont rapporté que Crown Princess Victoria est actuellement à l'étranger avec sa famille. Aussi absent était le prince Carl Philip, et la princesse Sofia qui sont toujours en Afrique du Sud avec leur fils le prince Alexander. La princesse Christina, la princesse Christina, l'une des quatre sœurs aînées du souverain, accompagnée de son mari Tord Magnuson, était également présente.

"C'est très triste, il a fait beaucoup de bon service et nos familles sont des amis", a déclaré le roi Carl XVI Gustaf de Suède aux journalistes lors de l'annonce de sa mort. Rappelons-nous que Louise, la femme d'Ulf Dinkelspiel, était professeur d'anglais à l'école secondaire à laquelle la Princesse héritière Victoria a assisté et fut plus tard mentor de la princesse héritière. Et que leurs fils se marient, un des meilleurs amis de Victoria, le meilleur ami de la Madeleine.
