The Danish Crown Prince Family mobilised for the Icelandic Presidential couple

Crown Princess Mary of Denmark had a mission on Wednesday to escort the wife of the Icelandic president on a state visit to Denmark with her.

Crown Princess Mary of Denmark and the First Lady of Iceland spent much of the day on Wednesday January 25th 2017 together. On a state visit with her husband, Icelandic President Guoni Thorlacius Jóhannesson, Eliza Jean Reid was able to rely on the next Queen Consort Crown Princess to a variety a program of choice. And in particular the discovery of her foundation, Mary Fonden. The two women went to a nursery school in Copenhagen to see how the "LæseLeg" was applied there. Developed by Mary Fonden, this program helps children strengthen their language and self-confidence by reading stories.

Earlier, Crown Princess Mary took her guest to the UN City Hall in Copenhagen and met with representatives of the Nordic offices. Then they found their respective spouses at the University of Copenhagen. Having left the Copenhagen Hospitality College (the largest professional college in Northern Europe in the hotel, restaurant and tourism industries), where they had lunch, the two couples gathered in the evening for the reception offered back to Queen Margrethe II of Denmark and her family by Icelandic President Guoni Thorlacius Jóhannesson and his wife at the North Atlantic House in Copenhagen. The Crown Princess, who was wearing a coat on a checkered dress in shades of gray in the course of the day, had changed to a Dolce & Gabbana Red Lace Dress, Carlend Copenhagen AICHA Original Croco Clutch, Prada Natural Pointed Toe Pump. She wore it on the outside, accompanied by a white Prada coats thrown over her shoulders. Her sister-in-law, Princess Marie, arrived on the arm of her husband, Prince Joachim, in a silver suit with a jacket embroidered with a pattern of foliage, BOTTEGA VENETA clutch.

Day 1 of the Icelandic state visit to Denmark

But before the evening glamour of evening dresses and tiara that comes with state visits, The Icelandic presidential couple who arrived and began a three-day state visit to Denmark where received by HM Queen Margrethe II and her husband Prince Henrik, as they were welcomed 10 am at the Amalienborg Palace. Then, in the afternoon, the monarch went with President Guoni Thorlacius Jóhannesson and his wife to the Royal Danish Library in Copenhagen. He was given the gift of the people of Iceland: the complete collection of the Icelandic Sagas translated into Danish for the universities and libraries of Denmark.



Evening dresses and tiara were on rigueur this Tuesday night at the Amalienborg Palace in Copenhagen for The Danish royal ladies.

 Queen Margrethe II of Denmark was seen wearing the " golden Naasut Tiara ", her emerald green lace dress. The tiara is a gift from the island of Greenland - the island of which she is the sovereign - for her 40 years of reign in 2012, this contemporary diadem juxtaposes flowers in gold and small diamonds.

Her Australian daughter-in-law, Crown Princess Mary wore her  Diamond, Ruby, and Spinel Necklace Tiara, accompanied by her matching earrings. Outfit wise she recycle an old black Oscar De la Renta tiered skirt and paired it with a lace top, with Prada Satin Box Clutch.

Her French daughter in law also present, Princess Marie wore Diamond Floral Tiara and as outfit a new OLE YDE black sparkling dress.

Whilst sister Princess Benedickte had the Queen Sophia's Star and Pearl Tiara.

The Queen of Denmark offered a state dinner to the new Icelandic President Guoni Thorlacius Jóhannesson, elected in August 2016, and his wife Eliza Jean Reid.

Sash wise the Danish royal family were wearing the blue sash of Iceland's Order of the Falcon.

After the tour at Kronborg Castle and the Danish Maritime Museum, Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary led last Thursday, April 14th the wife of the president of Mexico, on two day state visit with her husband to Denmark, to a kindergarten in Kokkedal, town lying south of Fredensborg. The future Queen Consort , who for the occasion wore a royal blue Prada dress under a cream colored Prada coat, GIANVITO ROSSI pumps et a QUIDAM clutch, had chosen this kindergartenfor its the program "Fri for Mobberi ". For small pupils aged 3 to 8 years, it is set up by Crown Princess Mary Foundation-Mary Foden) and organization Red Barnet children's aid in the fight against the bullying at school, and in kindergarten.

Laterin the afternoon. They were joined by their husband, Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark and Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto, visited in a school of 700 students located in Gentofte, north of the Danish capital. Which has the particularity to use Lego in education.

Later they met again at the reception hosted by the Mexican presidential couple at The Hotel D'Angleterre to Queen Margrethe II of Denmark and her family, in return for Dinner State served Wednesday April 13th to Fredensborg Castle. Mary had changed to a printed GANNI skirt in shades of cream, black and red associated with a black top, GIANVITO ROSSI pumps and her BOTTEGA VENETA clutch. Whereas Marie wore her Azzaro dress with JIMMY CHOO and pouch. On arrival, she was wearing a black coat.
 and a stole in black lace.
