Queen Silvia and Crown Princess Victoria, Princesses Madeleine and Sofia accompanied by their husband Crown Prince Daniel, Christopher O'Neill and Prince Carl Philip, were alongside the sovereign, as his sister Princess Christina.

It's a tradition. The 2015 vintage was no exception to the rule. Each chose her color. Queen Silvia was red. The Princesses Victoria and Sofia, both pregnant, chose evening dresses, purple for the first, dark blue for the latter. Came with her husband in London Princess Madeleine had meanwhile opted for blue gray.

While Crown Princess Victoria and her husband, Prince Daniel took place behind King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia on golden chairs facing all the recipients, the other members of the royal family moved to the forefront of assistance. Held in the Stockholm Concert Hall, the ceremony was followed by the Nobel banquet given, as every year in the city hall of the Swedish capital.
