This year's program was slightly modified last minute due to terrorist attacks in Paris on November 13. Princess Charlene appeared this morning in a total look eggplant to attend the Mass celebrated in the cathedral monégasque. Sharing the mourning period introduced by France in tribute to the many victims of the recent bombings in Paris, the Principality of Monaco had canceled the fireworks and Olivier de Benoist performances which were originally planned on Wednesday, the eve of the Monegasque national holiday.
"Nice-Matin" had announced that this year the traditionally celebrated for the Monegasque National Day Mass would not open, as usual, by a Te Deum, but with a prayer for the victims of terrorist attacks in Paris. The Mediterranean newspaper had further stated that the safety device had been reinforced around the Prince Albert II and his family so that they can take part in this office.
After the Mass, Their Serene couple appear at the Palace's backyard with their 11 months old twins, Princess Gabriella and Crown Prince Jacques. In some pictures we can Princess Charlene carrying Princess Gabriela and Prince Albert II doing the same with Crown Prince Jacques while greeting the crowd.
