The British Royal Courts: Another Saloni dress for the Duchess of Cambridge

This Wednesday April 6th, together with her husband Prince William Duke of Cambridge, the Duchess of Cambridge hosted a pre-tour reception and received at their London residence of Kensington Palace young Indians and Bhutanese who live, work or study in the UK, to have an opportunity for the royal couple to learn more about the people, history, current affairs and culture.

For the occasion, she premiered a new gown from London-based, Indian-born designer, Saloni. She wore Blue Mary Illusion Dot Dress from the designer Pre Fall 2016 collection which is available for pre-purchase at Moda Operandi and Net A porter. The Duchess first wore the label in November 2015, following the announcement of the royal tour to the Asia continent  The mother of the little prince George and Baby Charlotte had coupled with coordinated Rupert Sanderson 'Malory' Navy Suede Pumps and was adorned with Cassandra Goad gold 'Temple of Heaven' girandole pendant earrings
This Sunday April 10th, The Duke and Duchess will begin their official visit to India and Kingdom of Bhutan on behalf of the Government of Queen Elizabeth II, the grandmother the prince. The tour, which ends April 16, will lead them to Mumbai, the financial capital and largest city of India and New Delhi, the capital. The couple then win the Kaziranga National Park in the state of Assam. After two days in Bhutan, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will return to India to complete their journey on the famous Taj Mahal in Agra site. This trip will notably allow William, second in the order of succession to the British throne after his father Prince Charles, to understand the new face of India and its challenges for the coming decades.

The British Royal Courts: More details about the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge official visit to India and the Kingdom of Bhutan

All is not yet finalized and some appointments will be communicated later on. However, many details of the  Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's trip to India and Bhutan were release on March 29th by their Kensington Palace offices.
These are the first dates of the official visit, on behalf of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and a few days before her much anticipated 90th birthday, which have been announced. from April 10th to 16th. Their tour will begin in Mumbai, the financial capital and largest city of India, and they will then visit New Delhi before gaining the Kaziranga National Park in the state of Assam. After two days in Bhutan -small kingdom confined between Tibet and India, close to the Népal-, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will return to India to complete their journey on the famous Taj Mahal in Agra site.
While in the past the UK and India is intimately connected, this trip is designed to allow William, heir to the British throne, and his wife Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge to "begin a personal relationship" with this country. If the tour includes a tribute to some 70,000 Indian soldiers who lost lives fighting in the British Army during the First World War, also and especially puts "emphasis on the understanding of India as is today and will be throughout the twenty-first century - a dynamic nation, entrepreneurial, ambitious confident that faces both challenges and considerable opportunities "said Kensington Palace.
As for the program, it is more varied.The couple will be without their two children 2 and a half years Prince George and 11 months old Princess Charlotte will add to the formal interviews, celebrations and receptions meetings with associations helping children living slums, with young entrepreneurs or with protecting wildlife, one of the fights of the eldest son of Prince Charles and the late Princess Diana.
It was at the hotel Taj Mahal Palace in Mumbai that the Cambridge will drop their suitcases on their arrival in India. A symbolic choice because the property was one of the targets of the ten terrorist attacks from November 26th to 29th 2008, where 188 people lost their lifes and have injured 312.
Other highlights of the trip for the princely couple include Mahatma Gandhi musuem, one of a discovery center built by Elephant Family, protection of the Association of Asian elephants and other endangered animals founded by Mark Shand - one of the brothers of William's stepmother Camilla Duchess of Cornwall, who died accidentally in 2014- or the encounter with the new parents Sovereign couple of Bhutan Druk Gyalypo Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuk and his wife Druk Gyalysen Queen Jetsun Pema, who just gave birth the couple first child. Not to mention, the passage to the Taj Mahal remains forever associated with the sadness of Diana, immortalized one before this monument to the glory of love when she married the Prince of Wales seriously was on the rocks and the couple separated a few months later.
"The Duke of Cambridge is of course aware of the high esteem in which India holds her mother, the late Princess of Wales, and it enjoys the status of icons of images that exist of the princess at the Taj. It feels incredibly lucky to visit a place where the memory of his mother is kept alive by many visitors. 24 years after the visit of the latter to the Taj, the Duke and Duchess are eager to see this beautiful place by themselves and create new memories as they thank the people of India at the end of this tour, "the statement concluded.

It was also unveiled on February 9 the first photograph of their baby was posted. The photograph posted on the Facebook account of the young Sovereign couple shows the royal couple sitting outside in the company of their newborn but also the paternal grandfather of the latter, the former Thunder king 4th Druk Gyalpo Jigme Singye Wangchuck. All three, in traditional costumes, carry a tender look at the royal baby wrapped in a yellow cloth, a white cap on his head. Only part of his face is visible, indicating that the infant asleep.
The photo is accompanied by a text that begins: "The Bhutanese families had a wonderful Losar (New Year) today to celebrate this day with their family and loved ones. To make the day even more special, we have the honor to bring to your attention the first official photo of Her Royal Highness Gyalsey (Crown Prince, Ed).

The "Dragon King" Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck celebrated his 36th birthday and first birthday as a new birthday on Sunday February 19th. On this occasion, the young monarch and his lovely wife Jetsun Pema, unveiled a series of photographs of their Royal Baby older than two weeks.

The first photo of the Crown Prince of Bhutan, born February 5, 2016, was posted by his mother Queen Jetsun Pema four days later on the social networks. The 25-year-old mom reiterates February 21st sharing snapshots of his first child on her Facebook page. But it is a 12 pictures which the couple marked the day with the country showing a new family history.

In legend, Queen Jetsun Pema explains that this "collection of wonderful photographs of HRH Gyalsey" (this is how we call the crown prince in Bhutan) were taken on Friday 19 February. Too cute, the baby which we do not yet know the name, it only shows, as well as both parents dressed in traditional outfits, or in the arms of his mom and his dad separately, on background of trees starting to bloom.
