The Belgian Royal Courts: The Royal Family on Holidays

On Monday, Belgians Royal Family are on vacation at the Swiss resort of Verbier, took the break before photographers with their four children. The royal ski season is on!

For one week, from February 8 to 12, students around the Kingdom have the "rest and recuperation", also called "holidays of Carnival."   The royal family of Belgium were eager to join the ski resort of Verbier in Valais canton in Switzerland which is now an annual tradition. Staying with friends as emphasized by the Belgian site information "sudinfo.be" Mathilde and Philippe are delivered from that February 8 to traditional snow photo shoot with the press with their offspring, skis to feet and helmets on their heads. Last year it was canceled for safety reasons due to threats of terrorist attacks.

The different photographs taken show the King and Queen and their children - Princess Elizabeth(Duchess of Barbrant)14, Prince Gabriel 12 and a half years, Prince Emmanuel, 10, and Princess Eleonore almost 8 years- alternating poses couple and group slip and snowball battles.

The Belgian Royal Courts: The Belgian Royal family attended the annual Christmas concert

Belgian King Philippe and his wife Mathilde Queen attended the Wednesday, December 16 at the traditional Christmas concert at the Royal Palace of Brussels, in the company of their children, but other members of the royal family. A notable absence.

Moments before the concert, Their Majesties Queen Mathilde, King Philippe and their children - Crown Princess Elisabeth, Gabriel, Emmanuel and Eleanor - posed for photographers in front of the Christmas tree and the crib.

The family is then directed to the throne room, where is given the traditional Christmas concert. A concert by the sovereign to thank those who have contributed to the success of royal activities during the previous year.

On the agenda for this Christmas 2015, Handel's Messiah by the Concert of Antwerp and the Flemish Radio Choir under the direction of Bart Van Reyn, with soloists from the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel.

The Royal Court of Belgium: The Belgian Royal Family outing

The Belgian Royal Family had quite an eventful Sunday Family outing. They took part in the 15th anniversary of "Dimanchesansvoitures" or "Sundaywithoutcars"  in the capital Brussels organise by Mobilmix and the Ministry of Mobility and Public Works.



Also today was the 50th anniversary Paralympic Day. Here Crown Princess Elisabeth light the Paralympic Day to announce the countdown to Paralympic Games in Rio de Janeiro Brazil in 2016. King Philip got the chance to play with athletes in tennis

The Royal Court of Belgium: King Philipe accompanies his children for their first day back to school

 For Crown Princess Elisabeth 13, Princess Eleonore 7 and Prince Gabriel 11 first day of school at the Roman Catholic Secondary School  Sint-Jan-Berchmans college in Brussels, King Phillipe took the time to bring them to why Queen Mathilde took Prince Emmanuel 9 to his school Eureka School in Kessel-Lo, Leuven. Eureka School educates children with learning disabilities
