The Spanish Royal Court: Queen Sofia distinguish in New York

Her Majesty Queen Sofia received the "2015 Hadrian Award" from the director of World Monuments Fund, Christopher Ohstrom, an award granted by the World Monuments Fund to recognize the work for understanding, consideration and preservation of art and architecture. In this edition, which coincides with the 50th anniversary of the World Monuments Fund, Sofia was honored for his work in raising awareness and dissemination of Spanish cultural heritage.
The organizers have stressed their interest in promoting innovation in this field and its contribution to the revitalization of the cultural identity of Latin American communities as Patron of Hispania Nostra, and through the Reina SofĂ­a International Award for Conservation and Restoration of cultural.
This award, granted by the World Monuments Fund to distinguish the work for understanding, consideration and preservation of art and architecture, recognizes the work of Sofia to raise awareness and publicize the cultural heritage of Spain and Latin America.
She was dressed for the occasion of an ivory silk jacket over a black long skirt in tulle.
