L'ouverture de l'exposition au Luxembourg

L'inauguration officielle était prévue pour le vendredi 10 février 2017 à 18h. Les nouvelles expositions du Mudam, le musée d'art moderne du Grand-Duc Jean à Luxembourg, qui ouvrent leurs portes au public le lendemain, le samedi 11 février. Cependant, la Princesse Stéphanie du Luxembourg a pu les découvrir à titre d'aperçu le jeudi 9 février. La grande-duchesse héréditaire a été guidée par les artistes britanniques Tony Gragg et Darren Almond qui y présentent leurs œuvres.

La belle-fille du grand-duc Henri et de la grande-duchesse Marie-Thérèse de Luxembourg portaient une robe noire et blanche imprimée avec une graine de fleurs, avec des manches transparentes. Ses cheveux tirés en queue de cheval, la femme de 32 ans avait orné de petites boucles d'oreilles.

Passionnée d'art, Stéphanie de Luxembourg est apparue aux anges lors de cette visite privée. Un privilège qu'elle doit au poste de présidente du conseil de Mudam, qu'elle assure depuis le début de 2016.

Ouvert en 2006, le musée d'art moderne Grand-Duc Jean, surnommé Mudam, a été construit par le célèbre architecte sino-américain Ieoh Ming Pei - l'auteur de la pyramide du Louvre à Paris - sur le site d'une ancienne forteresse, Le Fort Thüngen. Il abrite des collections permanentes d'art contemporain de renommée mondiale et propose des expositions temporaires.
